THE PROJECT OVERVIEW
After a rigorous tender process Sheelin Group Commercial Interiors was chosen to partner with the Institute of Technology Carlow to deliver a new modern concourse area that included breakout, restaurent and study space for the student body.
THE CHALLENGE
This project went through a rigorous tender process that tested out abilities, standards and experience. We were delighted to be awarded the contract, which needed to be completed on a live site over an eight-week period and which also fell within the summer close down period! The key challenge was to transform the space and create a visual impression, while also making sure that we maximised functionality in this busy and diverse environment. We needed people to enjoy the space so much that they would return to it on a regular basis.
THE RESULT
The project was delivered on time, on budget and in accordance with the strict delivery and installation guidelines set down by the contracting authority. Most importantly, our approach resulted in a happy client, a vibrant publice space and a satisfied Sheelin Project Team.

THE SHEELIN SOLUTION
Our Sheelin Solution revolved around being fully committed and working together as a tight, dedicated team. Before being presented to the client, all product solutions were vigorously verified for their suitability to this hard working environment. Final solutions were then agreed from over 25 different manufacturers across Europe. We then began the hard work of coordinating this project installation to a live site in one phase over the summer closedown period. We are hugely experienced in the difficulties of working within a live site, and so were able to emply meticulous project management to ensure the seamless coordination of deliveries to minimise disruption.
