PROJECT OVERVIEW
Sheelin Group Commercial interiors was appointed to supply, deliver and install a complete furniture package for this pioneering and exciting headquarters in South County Dublin. The fitout included all open plan, meeting and collaboration spaces, as well as executive office areas, allowing us to truly demonstrate our ability to offer "solutions for every space". The emphasis here was on bravery of approach to capture the company's adventurous spirit. Bold and dynamic colours were used to create inviting spaces in line with the magnetic HostelWorld ethos and brand.
THE CHALLENGE
This bold and ambitious project needed to be delivered in a strict two-phased fitout period. Phase One had a duration of six weeks; Phase Two just four weeks. Phase One also needed to be completed during the traditional manufacturing closedown period in August.
As the location was in a residential area, we faced the challenge of lack of access for deliveries. We also wanted to be mindful of disruption to residents in the area.
THE RESULT
The client's words say so much more than we could ever say ourselves - we thank them for taking the time to review our partnership and we look forward to working with them again in the future.
"Karen and her team supported us throughout our recent relocation to new 25,000 square foot offices in Central Park, Leopardstown. From tendering through to procurement, installation and after sales, Sheelin made the whole process painless for us. It has been a pleasure to work with Karen, who despite our ridiculous timescales and an intricate design of both office and social spaces, consistently demonstrated a can-do attitude, keeping a great sense of humour throughout. The Sheelin team stepped up to every challenge we and the design team threw at them; trust me there were many! Our colleagues are delighted with their super new home and we wouldn't hesitate in working with Karen and her team again."

THE SHEELIN SOLUTION
We were committed to bringing this vision to life by working in close partnership with the design team at Henry J. Lyons. We successfully matched the ambitious design intentions of this project by sourcing, delivering and installing completely unique product lines.
We also made sure to strictly manage installations to be considerate of residents in the area. Timings were critical, as was our commitment to waste management and removal.
This project was a true example of a collaborative process, not just with the design team, but with the client. Their aspirational ideas meant many challenges along the way, but we proved our ability to turn such challenges into opportunities with a little creative thinking along the way. This creative dynamic and enthusiasm is something that we are very proud of at Sheelin Group.
Our energy and vigour in terms of detail meant that despite the extremely challenging deadlines, this innovative project was completed on time and to the full satisfaction of the client and wider team. We continue to support this client, like all others, with a full and proactive aftersales service.
