PROJECT OVERVIEW
Sheelin Group Commercial Interiors was appointed to design the European Headquarters for Greenlight Reinsurance Ltd, based in the IFSC in Dublin. The Brief was to create an energising workplace that incorporated executive office spaces, conference rooms, open plan workspaces, breakout areas and a state-of-the-art boardroom facility.
THE CHALLENGE
This modern European headquarters needed to stand out from the crowd and embrace the "different" values of the company. Our challenge was to realise this vision through a full turnkey package. This project was therefore not limited to loose furnishings; we were also providing a full Mechanical and Electical (M&E) solution including air conditioning, data cabling, a double-glazed partitioning system and a full joinery package. This ambitious project needed to be completed within and eight-week timeframe.
THE RESULT
The project was completed on time and on budget, to the full satisfaction of the client. It's a particularly good example of our ability to be creative with any given space, inspiring solutions that are unique and reflective of a company's own ethos. This allows teams to live the brand within their office environment.
THE TEAM
Contractor: Interior Integration Solutions
There was no external architect or design team. This was a direct project with the client team.
THE SHEELIN SOLUTION
We pride ourselves on energising every single project, so we were delighted to be involved in bringing this innovative vision to life.
We got under the skin of the space so that we could recommend the best solutions for all aspects, both functional and aesthetic.
Highlights included a customised kitchen space that doubles as a sleek reception area. We also created a state-of-the-art boardroom facility including frature walls and a veneer boardrrom table with all edgings wrapped in first class Italian leather. Casual breakout areas were created for employees to work and relax in, with the goal of inspiring a sense of stress-free productivity. We used "Ideas Paint" in these areas - this paint allows people to write on the walls, liberating the thinking process as a result of being unllimited by space.
Staying true to our sustainability advocacy, all loose furnishings we provided were LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified.
