Warehouse Manager

With our growing operations, we now have an exciting new opportunity for a full time, highly efficient, Warehouse Manager to join our Warehouse/Logistics team. As the Warehouse Manager, you will working in conjunction with our Warehouse and Logistics Co-ordinator to ensure the smooth running and efficient management of the Warehouse/ distribution operations within the busy, fast paced environment. Sheelin Group warehouse environment is currently located in Greenhill’s Industrial Estate, Drogheda, Co. Louth.

 

The successful candidate will have at least three to five years’ experience in a similar supervisory role, with a proven ability for people management, project management, managing deadlines and cost controls. You will be accountable for the efficient and effective running of the warehouse. You will be accountable for the maximisation of resources available to deliver outstanding results.  You will build and sustain a high performing engaged team by providing clear direction. You will be a strong leader, enthusiastic, with an analytical and proactive approach towards improving and successfully managing the Sheelin Group warehouse/distribution operations.

Recognised logistics warehouse qualification or equivalent is essential for the role, as is a full, clean driving license as well as a Fork and reach truck license.

Familiarity with ISO standards and in particular health and safety and an understanding of the Commercial Interior Sector are desirable.

B2B Sales Representative

To further our expansion plans we are looking for a motivated and ambitious person who is seeking the opportunity to build a successful sales career with an innovative and market leading organisation in the commercial furniture industry. The ideal candidates will come from a field sales position within the Office Furniture industry, or a similar B2B environment, and be adept at business development. The role will involve managing existing client accounts while having the ability to develop new ones. You will use your skills as a “hunter” to prospect for and set your own appointments with potential business clients, developing new accounts and further expanding our customer base.
This exciting role will have responsibility for a full product range across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland with an absolute focus on delivering profitable sales volume and contribution growth across all trade channels.
 

 

The successful candidate will be a proven new business hunter with proven experience in the office furniture industry or similar

 

Selection Criteria

  • At least three years sales/business development experience

  • Graduate education preferred, but not required

  • Proven customer management background

  • Proactive, articulate, enthusiastic, self - motivated and willing to go the extra mile when required.

  • A history of drive and determination to achieve and exceed set targets.

  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Good planning and organisational skills

  • Excellent journey planning skills

  • Proven ability to negotiate

  • Excellent relationship building skills

  • Good understanding of the current business environment

  • Ability to multitask

  • Flair for design and attention to details

  • Ability to read architectural plans

  • Making decisions on appropriate products for potential accounts.

  • Clean full Driver’s License

  • Extensive business and social networks

  • Good knowledge/understanding of ISO 9001:2008 standard

  • Experience selling into the facilities management space is a bonus

  • Prospecting and developing sales opportunities and new relationships.
